- Description: Coordinates services and provides referrals for persons with developmental disabilities and their families. Disabilities may include cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism, and other related disorders.Provides the following support and services to eligible individuals and their families: Case management Developmental Hearing, medical, speech, vision, genetic, nursing, and nutritional evaluations Diagnosis and coordination of resources Education, health, welfare, rehabilitation, and recreation Prevention program for infants under the age of three. For those who are at risk for developmental disabilities. Developmental services Infant development programs, Parent education, Family training, Speech therapy Hearing and vision services Physical and occupational therapy Psychological services Assistive technology services Funding for health services (not covered by other funding sources) Genetic counseling when appropriate Respite care services Legal and financial services May include court-ordered evaluations, limited conservatorship, representative payee services. Contracts with Promotores Regional Program. Provides support and advocacy. For Latino and Southeast Asian FNRC clients and their families. Uses native languages.
